i have amd athlon 4200 with brisbean core......

third its not hyper threading but hyper transport., cool n quiet technology, 3dnow technology...

this is the benchmark i found comparing brisbane based x2 4800 to e6600, just look.
no wonder link with the test showing how superior x2 4200 is over any core 2 duo was deleted.
i'm not a maniac either, i'm just doing some research before buying pc parts and im not a fanboy, because era of athlon 64 is over (and yes amd was kicking intel's ass then and i had a64 because it was really better). now face the facts and dont lie.

still amd athlons 64 are better with performance alst and that is true. Just in qualty intel's c2d beat them.
I wanna have fast pc i dont need high quality i have video card for it :P
We can talk like this 30 years, but in next 3 months amd or intel will build sextero processors. And in 2010 there will be a pc what think like ppl , act like ppl and talk like ppl......
That is an technology.
Tell me, u look what u wanna buy, but i buy this cheap and i can rebuild it when i can and wanna...
hmmm and procesor in not pc :P so why we wrote here about processors speed with games?? Its graphic card, ram and in end its processor

just because you started arguing that amd x2 is faster than core 2 duo which is not true. slow cpu is holding back fast gfx card and cpu sockets are changing fast so you wont be always able to upgrade it.
